God List

No really, this will be the main list where people say which god, goddess or creature of legend they've chosen to be. While multiples are discouraged, if you have a particular Aspect of a Legend/God/Myth/Superintelligent Shade of Blue, just be sure you're clear about that when you comment.

Comment below with the figure of legend you plan on doing as well as the culture/mythology its from and what form you're looking to portray. I'll update as often as I can.

Good Example
Athena. Greek. Warrior Aspect.

Bad Example
That guy from this wicked cool story I read and he'll have a big metal glove and it'll rule!

Taken Members of a Pantheon

nayka_verdandi - "Athena. Greek Goddess of Wisdom, War, and Weaving. Focusing on Athena Promachos and Athena Nike rather than Athena Parthenos."

nanashi_jones - "Minerva. Roman Goddess of Many Things. Focus on Minerva Medicina, her Aspect of Medicine and Doctors."

tempest_gypsy - "Epona. Celtic. Goddess of horses, hence in a steampunk age, goddess of engines. Perhaps trains, as the Iron Horse, specifically."

lasarigue - "The Morrigan. Celtic. Goddess associated with sovereignty, prophecy, war, and death on the battlefield. Often associated with ravens."

Ty M - "Thor. Norse. God of thunder."

Dan F - "Cernunnos. Celtic. God of the hunt."

darkfirewolfe - "Clio. Greek. Muse of history." (tentative)

promethean - "Odin. Norse. Incarnation TBD."

Lisa L - "Artemis. Greek. Goddess of the Hunt."

Rachel S - "Eros. Greek. God of Erotic Love."

ztrooper - "Hermes. Greek. Messenger of the Gods."

Comments

Coincidentally:

Athena. Greek Goddess of Wisdom, War, and Weaving. Focusing on Athena Promachos and Athena Nike rather than Athena Parthenos.

Epona. Celtic. Goddess of horses, hence in a steampunk age, goddess of engines. Perhaps trains, as the Iron Horse, specifically.
The Morrigan. Celtic. Goddess associated with sovereignty, prophecy, war, and death on the battlefield. Often associated with ravens.
By the way, Ty doesn't have livejournal, but here is what he wants:
Thor. Norse. God of thunder.
Dan Fields also doesn't have facebook, but here's his:
Cernunnos. Celtic. God of the hunt.
I want to do one of the Greek Muses

I'm deciding between Clio (the muse of history) and Urania (the muse of astronomy). I'll probably be going with Clio.

:)

So either
Clio. Greek. Muse of history OR
Urania. Greek. Muse of astronomy
